As a diplomat, you must join one of three authorised companies that are responsible for validating and refunding VAT (this may only be done by a company). Click here to affiliate with Forax / Global Blue.

1. The diplomat always pays inclusive of VAT
2. The shop or company must issue an invoice containing full details of the diplomat's name, address, items purchased and the amount of VAT paid
3. The diplomat needs to upload the invoice on the FORAX website (www.forax.eu) or via the Forax-App
4. Ministry of Finance: Validate purchases made by the diplomat
5. Global Blue/Forax: Refund of VAT between 2 and 5 working days
