The Extra Refund is calculated on the refund amount and not on the sale price.
For example: if goods are purchased for €1000, the tax refund after fees would be €120.
20% Extra Refund of this would be €24.
The Extra Refund is paid automatically after Customs validation. You will receive two refund payments: one for the VAT refund and one for the Extra Refund promotion.
Typically the Extra Refund will be paid 1-2 days after Customs validation. If you mail back your Tax Free Form, it may take up to 90 days for the validation to reach us.
Unfortunately it’s not possible to receive the Extra Refund without Customs validation.
